The Robotic demonstration by Technophilia, Robotic specialists from India, for the first time in Kuwait gave a mesmerizing opportunity for the public to see Robots live in action! Hiral Sanghavi and Naitik Trivedi of Technophilia, from Mumbai conducted the robotic show for the Shaastrotsav attracted the packed crowd. Mumbai based Technophilia systems is the National leader in Robotic Educations.
Technophilia demonstrated various robots, Haptic Robotic Arm, I-Touch Arm and many more interesting robotic technologies.
The crowd watched the Mobile phone Controlled Robot with a big applause. Technophilia team explained how you can control the movement of the Robot by just dialing the number of the mobile from which is placed on the robot by another mobile or landline. You can call from any part of the world and control the movements of the Robot. Blackberry phone connected with an audio jack was placed on the Robot and a person from the audience called that number and once it was connected that person could control the Robot by just pressing numbers on his mobile. Each number has a particular frequency or tone that is recognized by the robot and it does a particular movement for that number.
The Haptic Robotic Arm robot imitates the movement of the person wearing a robotic suite. The Robot has been given 6 axes. What all movements the person does with his arm the same movement will be done by the robotic arm.
Technophilia also demonstrated ITouch Robotic Arm, which can be controlled by the touch screen Mobile. By just touching the screen the robotic arm moves. Fingers, elbow and base is controlled by the touch screen.
The most interesting part was the demonstration of Writing Robot, where a person starts drawing or writing on computer, the robot also does the same on the paper. This amazed the students as well as the adult.
Robotic vehicles controlled using Motion Technology also attracted the crowd. The show was a rare opportunity for the public to watch the amazing show of technology. Adults and children were thrilled by the Robotic Show.
Other main attraction of the daylong event was the Science Exhibition by various Indian School students and other technical and professional organizations and well known companies. There were around 15 Indian schools which participated in juniors and seniors categories in the science exhibition competition. The exhibition enthralled the audience.
Kuwait Oil Company made a live demonstration of Vehicle Rollover Simulator and ‘Seatbelt Convincer’ which reminds the public about wearing seat belt while driving.
A panel of Indian Doctors conducted a seminar on ‘Cancer - Everything You Want to Know‘during the Science Fest.
The unique science and technology fest Shaastrotsav was organized by Kuwait chapter of NSS College of Engineering Alumni, in association with Gulf University for Science & Technology (GUST).
